Airport & Ground Transportation 

Boston has a variety of transportation options, learn more at https://www.massport.com/logan-airport. Ride share is available through Uber and Lyft to pick up and drop off passengers at the airport at Terminals A,B, C, and E. Taxi service is also available on the Arrivals level at Terminals A,B,C, and E. Public Transportaiton to and from the Boston Logan International Airport is provided by MBTA via subway or bus.  

Boston’s public transportation system is operated by Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority (MBTA), but it is also known by the locals as the “T”. It offers subway, bus, trolley car, and ferry services to just about anywhere in the Greater Boston area and beyond. The basic fare for a one-way ride is $2.40, and kids 11 years and younger ride free. More information about navigating Boston’s public transportation system here.  

Hotel Accommodations

For the 2026 CSTE Annual Conference, CSTE will utilize Orchid Events for housing services to assist attendees with new reservations, modifications, and cancellations.  

Hotel accommodations can only be secured at a group block hotel after registering for the conference, once registration and housing opens. Hotels will not accept reservations directly. However, for travel approval process needs, hotels in the group block range in price at a rate of $339.00 to $384.00 per night plus local tax (currently 16%).  

Information on hotels will be accessible through the registration system after you have registered for the conference.  

Meeting Location

All conference sessions will be held at the Hynes Convention Center. Suggested attire is business casual for all conference activities. We strongly suggest bringing a light sweater or jacket with you to the conference.  

Weather

In June, average high temperatures are in the 70s. Weather in the summer in Boston can be warm and rainy. Meeting rooms are air conditioned and layered clothing, such as a sweater or jacket is recommended.
