2:00 PM – 6:45 PM (Transportation is limited and leaves at 2:00 PM from Sheraton Hotel and returns to hotel approximately at 6:45 PM. The travel time is approximately 60 minutes from the host hotel to/from the museum.)

Step inside the nation’s first museum dedicated to preserving the history and legacy of public health. Hosted at the historic Public Health Museum in Tewksbury, this special open house welcomes CSTE attendees to explore the people, policies, and innovations that shaped modern public health—from early infectious disease control to today’s data-driven surveillance.
Wander through exhibits at your own pace, meet museum curators, and enjoy light refreshments during an informal reception following the open house.
Special guest Dr. Al DeMaria (past Massachusetts State Epidemiologist, current CSTE foundation board member, past CSTE president, CSTE pump handle awardee and past museum board chair and current board member) will be with us to provide his insights and museum favorites.
Space is limited and advanced tickets/registration is required.

The museum is located on the Tewksbury Hospital Campus at 365 East Street, Tewksbury, Massachusetts, (in the Old Administration Building near the East Street entrance, (42.61218 N, -71.23366 W).
Parking is available in the lot just inside the East Street entrance. Look for the building with the tall green spire—that’s us! If you are driving from Boston, it is between 30-45 minutes depending on traffic.

Opening Reception is open to all registered attendees and is an excellent opportunity to connect with colleagues. Join us in Exhibit Halls C and D at the Hynes Convention Center for bites, drinks, photo ops, and entertainment. Cash bar and light hors d’oeuvres will be available.

Gather to celebrate and recognize graduating CSTE fellows, fellowships, and mentors. The reception is open to all attendees to network and connect with your colleagues before exploring Hors d’oeuvres in the evening. Cash bars and limited light hors d’oeuvres will be available.
