For the 2020 CSTE Annual Conference, Orchid Events is our exclusive housing service to assist with new reservations, modifications and cancellations. Hotel accommodations can only be secured at a group block hotel after registering for the conference. Hotels will not accept reservation directly. Early registration and hotel reservations should be made as soon as possible, as reservations are made on a first-come, first-served basis. After your registration is complete, attendees will have access to a direct link to make hotel accommodation online or may contact Orchid Events. A credit card is needed to secure your hotel reservation and will not be charged during the initial stage but held as a guarantee for a deposit of one night’s room and tax for each room reserved.
The deadline for reservations at the group rate is June 5, 2020. However, if the group block sells out for any or all nights of the conference prior to the deadline, then the group rate will no longer be available. The hotel may also sell out even after the CSTE group block sells out. To ensure that you get into a group block hotel, it is recommended that you make your reservation as early as possible. Hotel reservations cancelled after June 5, 2020 are subject to a $25 processing fee. Deposit of one night’s room and tax will be forfeited entirely if cancellation occurs within 48 hours of arrival date. CSTE has contracted with hotels in the group block to provide complimentary in-room Wi-Fi access to attendees in the group block.
Information on hotels and availability is accessible online after you have registered for the conference. However, for travel approval process needs, all hotels are at a rate of $289 per night plus current tax and a Seattle Tourism Assessment Fee. Shuttle service will not be required for group block hotels as all hotels are at or within close walking distance to the meeting locations. Hotel names will be announced when registration and housing open on February 5, 2020.
